Commercial Real Estate


Our Commercial Real Estate practice includes real estate-related financing and representation of developers, brokers, management companies, landlords, tenants, family funds and high net worth individuals in virtually all aspects of commercial real estate, from pre-acquisition due diligence through the sale of improved leased property. We have helped our clients in managing environmental regulatory risks; reviewing and resolving survey and title-related issues; obtaining environmental, annexation, zoning, subdivision, zoning and other land use and development approvals at the federal state and local levels; organizing joint venture vehicles for ownership and development; negotiating and closing complex, multi-parcel land purchases, sales and ground leases; converting rental properties to residential condominiums and developing new residential and commercial condominiums and home owners associations; advising community associations on an ongoing basis; negotiating design and construction contracts; setting up and operating leasing programs for landlords, negotiating leases on behalf of tenants; and structuring sale-leaseback transactions. Our practice covers the extended Chicago metropolitan area -- downtown, suburban and rural fringe -- vacant land, high rises, office and industrial parks, strip centers and malls and residential rental buildings and complexes.
